The "Golden Ring" Sergiev Posad
These are the pictures long overdue. Sergiev Posad is the probably most important seat of the Metropolit of Moscow/Russia who apparently happened to be in town when I was there (therefore the many police cars). Boris Godunov and his family are buried here. Here are the links for more details. The English version is pitiful bad, the German quite interesting...
