Beijing pics 2 City Planning Museum

I liked this museum very much as it gave me an understanding of the historic development and the model of the city is simply incredibly impressive and gave me the impression of flying above it...

This shows the location of Beijing in a basin backed by the mountains...

The old Beijing surrounded by a wall in which place now the second ring is running (a little like in Vienna)...

Various models of hutong entrances which were built according to rank of owner..

The gigantic model of the city, I guess about 400 sqm at least...
